Acronis Drive Monitor is a tool that will monitor your hard drives health status and report various indicators of reliability. To do so, the software is using your hard drives S.M.AR.T. capabilities (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) to provide you with analysis of current conditions and temperatures.
After you install the program, it will run in background but you can easily open it using the System Tray icon. The program will stay in silent mode till something isn’t right or a value reaches a critical threshold. At that moment, the tool will notify you by a pop-up window or in case you configure it to do so, it will warn you by sending a message to your email address (useful when you want to keep an eye on more then one computer).
The software interface it’s simple and intuitive. When you open it, you’ll view into the summary panel. In here you can check if there is anything that might concern you about your hard drives (e.g. critical events that might indicate an increased risk for data safety). If you enter the Disks menu, you’ll be able to see many hard drive properties (as temperature, seek error rate, spin-up time and many more) as well as the overall health status for each disk. In the options section, you can configure the warning and alert threshold temperature (recommendation: try finding the normal working temperature of you hard drive model and set the warning level according to your hard drive specification).

Drawbacks / flaws: The hard drive temperatures are displayed only in Fahrenheit and in this version of the software you can’t set it to Centigrade; there should be the possibility to set the warning temperature for each drive.
In conclusion: In the hope of anticipating failures, Acronis Drive Monitor might be a good friend, warning you when there is still time to take action (such as copying the data to a replacement device).

RoboForm is an application designed to help you manage online identities, passwords and generally speaking, automatically fill all online forms that require personal data, logins and passwords.
All your personal data, passwords, logins, etc., will be securely stored and you won’t have to worry about remembering dozens of user names and passwords. All data is stored in secure ‘passcards’ protected by encrypted passwords (encryption algorithms: DES, 2DES, AES, Blowfish, RC6). You have the option of creating strong passwords using the password generator, in case you feel uninspired.
The program stores your form completion data divided into three sections: the ‘Logins’ section stores your user names and passwords, the ‘Identities’ section will store personal data such as name, phone numbers, business information, banking information, addresses, etc. You can store small protected text in the ‘Safenotes’ section: this is very helpful when you need to add comments to different passcards.
You can use this program with any browser. I tested the program using Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox browsers and it worked like a charm. Another data protection feature is the option to create/and restore backups of your files.
The interface is nice and ergonomic. You can set the program to show a toolbar on the bottom side of the browser or you can access it from the Windows tray.

CollageIt is a small piece of software designed to create great looking picture collages in less than a minute. It’s so fast due to the fact that the photos are intelligently placed on the layout and the only thing you’ll have to do is to follow three easy steps.
Add your favorite pictures into the software, set some parameters for them (if you like) and preview the way your collage is going to look and in the end, save your collage in one of the supported file formats (jpg, png, bmp, etc.).
The interface is very simple and it has three main panels. The left one, where you add and see the thumbnail of your photos, the middle panel where you can see the preview of your photo collage, and the right one is the settings panel where you can customize the way your collage is going to look like. In here you can enhance the collage with various options for layout (space, margins, rotation, sparse) but also applying effects as ‘shadow’ and ‘frame’.
The complexity of your collage is up to you, using just a couple of photos or up to 100 photos. Moreover, you can change the background of your collage using an image or by filling it with solid color or gradient. You can also change the collage size, manually, or picking one of the predefined size (A4, A3, 1024×768, etc.). In case you had set a layout that you like, you can save it and use it later.

Drawbacks / flaws:You can’t modify the shape of your collage.
In conclusion: A really nice piece of software that works as a charm.
